MICHAEL VICK’S DOG FIGHTING HOME PURCHASED BY ANIMAL RIGHTS GROUP

Michael Vick’s former Surry County, VA home, the center of his infamous “Bad Newz Kennel” dog-fighting ring will now become an animal sanctuary. Vick’s former property was valued almost near $1 million, however the home was brought by an animal right’s group for way less the value.

“A Pennsylvania animal advocacy group on Friday purchased the Surry County property where Michael Vicknce ran a dog-fighting operation.

Dogs Deserve Better, a nonprofit, paid $595,000 for the home, said Kyle Hause Jr., the Long & Foster real estate agent who handled the transaction.

The group plans to open an animal sanctuary on the property called Good News Rehab Center for Chained and Penned Dogs”.

I’m still tripping on the fact that they really want to turn that place into a home for animals.  I don’t mean no harm but what about the millions of American’s who are homeless? I guess dogs come before humans.
