So wait! You mean to tell me Soulja Boy can afford to buy a $55 million private jet for his birthday (see here) but can’t afford to pay the d*mn mortgage on his Atlanta home or his state taxes. What am I missing here?
The Detroit Tax Watchdog, is reporting that the rapper actually lost his McDonough, GA home to foreclosure and owes back taxes to both the states of California & Mississippi. Pop the hood for the receipts.
The rapper’s Georgia home was foreclosed last year, and he owes more than $30,000 in delinquent taxes, according to public records.
In addition:
- The state of California filed a $26,805 lien against Soulja Boy — real name DeAndre Way — on March 24 with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds.
- The state of Mississippi filed a $3,571 lien Feb. 8 in Madison County Circuit Court. (Update: Radar Online said he paid the bill July 22.)
Seriously? Either way he still has more money than me so who am I to judge.
