*UPDATED* SEAN KINGSTON IN “CRITICAL CONDITION” AFTER JET SKI ACCIDENT IN MIAMI

As the Memorial Day weekend slowly comes to a close in Miami, I’m sad to have to bring you all bad news.  Reports are coming in that rapper Sean Kingston was involved  in a jet ski crash. Source say the singer was rushed to the hospital in Miami and is “allegedly” in critical condition.

“Kingston, 21, was driving the personal watercraft with a female passenger on board when the accident occurred, said Officer Jorge Pino, a spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

About 6 p.m., the hip-hop and reggae singer slammed into the Palm Island Bridge, which connects the MacArthur Causeway to Palm and Hibiscus islands. Both he and the passenger were thrown into the water, Pino said.

Kingston’s rep tells TMZ …. “Sean Kingston was in an accident today. No further details are available at the moment. He and his family thank everyone for the well-wishes.”The cause of the crash is still under investigation.  TMZ is reporting that alcohol is not believed to be a factor”.

Update #1: (10:40AM EST) Lauren Ceradini, Vice President of publicity at Epic Records, told CNN, “Sean is stabilized” and refuted online claims he was dead.  Hip-hop singer Trav visited Kingston in the hospital and told the site: “He is good in stable condition.”

Update #2: (11:54AM EST) Sean Kingston has been stabilized and moved to the intensive care unit at a hospital after crashing his watercraft into a Miami Beach bridge, his publicist said Monday. – AP

I hope he’s alright. Please keep him in prayers!
