SHOW HER THE MONEY! CHRISTINA MILIAN LANDS NEW JOB ON NBC’S “THE VOICE”

Now that her divorce from The Dream is finalized Christina Milian is ready to get her career back on track. The beauty just landed herself a new gig on NBC’s “The Voice” alongside Cee-Lo Green, Christina Aquilera, Adam Levine & Blake Shelton.  But wait! She won’t be a judge….

The Scoop:

Singer-actress Christina Milian will join the next season of NBC’s hit show The Voiceas a social media correspondent, replacing Alison Haislip.

“Christina’s extensive musical background and widespread recognition make her the perfect choice for the role of Social Media Correspondent on The Voice,” said NBC’s president of alternative programming Paul Telegdy. “Her experience as a singer will provide a comfort level to our artists when they speak to her about the ins and outs of the competition.”

The press release explains Milian’s role, which appears to be similar to Haislip’s appearances last season:

As the new Social Media Correspondent, Milian will make regular appearances during the live broadcasts. The spot was previously held by Alison Haislip. Milian will also interact with fans through Facebook, Twitter, NBC.com and NBC Live. Tweets from fans who use #TheVoice hashtag will also be show at the bottom of the screen during live shows.

The second season of “The Voice” will kick off after Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday, February 5, 2012. The show will then air on in its regular day and time on the following night, Monday, February 6 at 8 p.m. [source]

Congrats to Christina…the only thing she need now is a lead role in a Tyler Perry film & her career will officially be back on track. LOL
