Whew! Today as awesome! I had the great pleasure in partaking in Pres. Obama’s “National Day of Service” on the National Mall in downtown Washington D.C. I usually try not to head downtown on the weekend since I’m downtown for work Mon-Friday but off-course this weekend was special!
As President Obama prepares to be sworn on for a second term on Monday, here are some photos of the sights and sounds of our Nation’s Capital city! Washington D.C. is gearing up to once again show the world what being an American is all about!
While on the National Mall I had the opportunity to meet & greet with CNN news Anchor Don Lemon. Despite some of the horrible rumors about him in the news, he’s such a wonderful man! In addition, to that me and a few friends also walked to the U. S. Capital, The National Mall, The White House and everything in between. We had a blast!
The best part about being apart of “National Service Day” was that I got to meet a whole lot of people from all over the country. I can even describe to you all how nice everyone was. The entire atmosphere was just amazing! As we get ready for Monday’s Inaguration…here are some photos that I took. I hope you enjoy!
