The 13th edition of BET’s famed “Celebration Of Gospel” show is set to be recorded next week on Saturday, March 16th at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. To much of your surprise, reality tv star Tamar Braxton has been added to the show as a performer alongside some of gospel music biggest stars.
BET is prepping a supercharged celebration of gospel music with talent including “Sunday Best” winners Le’Andria Johnson and Joshua Rogers.
The network recently announced plans for its 13th season of BET “Celebration of Gospel” that will also include a performance from R&B singer/reality personality Tamar Braxton.
With musical director Ray Chew at the helm, you can also expect performances from Israel Houghton & New Breed, Dorinda Clark Cole, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Karen Clark Sheard, and Yolanda Adams .
Other chart-topping artists ready to raise the praise are gospel super stars Kierra “Kiki” Sheard, Isaac Carree, Canton Jones, Da T.R.U.T.H., Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Choir and “Sunday Best” finalist Jessica Reedy.
In addition, multi-award-winning artists Dr. Bobby Jones, Kurt Carr, Donnie McClurkin and Rance Allen will lead the way in a high-energy, all-star tribute to the undisputed “King of Gospel Music,” Reverend James Cleveland. – BET
